Welcome to Driscoll Farms! We are a local family owned farm that has been proudly serving the Fargo-Moorhead area for 57 years. From bedding plants and hanging baskets to fresh hand-picked produce, everything we sell is grown locally on our 3rd generation family farm located outside of Glyndon, MN.
Driscoll Farms was started in 1963 when grandpa Charlie Driscoll purchased the farm. Grandpa Charlie began with grain farming and also sold some produce. He offered a more personal shopping experience with “pick your own potatoes.” His 6 children grew up working on the farm and would go around to local neighborhoods pulling a wagon full of produce and selling door-to-door.
Charlie’s son Mike went into business with him in 1982 when Mike and his wife Tari moved onto the farmstead. A year later, Charlie’s son Jim also joined in the family business and began to sell produce at a Farmer’s Market at the Fargo Dike. As the produce business began to grow, more and more neighbors would stop at the farm wanting to buy plants to start their own produce gardens.
In 1985, the Driscoll’s decided to diversify the farm and began to sell flowers as well. What started as a few varieties of flowers being sold off the farmstead turned into a few retail store locations across the Fargo-Moorhead area.
As the business continued to grow, Mike’s son Jake started working on the farm full-time in 2012. Today, we have 5 greenhouse locations in the FM metro area, including the farm and a popular Farmers Market at the West Acres Mall in Fargo, ND.
